Bio
For over 20 years, Ted Stevenson has been crafting some of the finest solid body guitars in the business. His extensive expertise in both vintage and modern instruments has provided valuable insight into the construction of his guitars. From wood selection to finishing to pickup winding, almost everything is done in house to extremely high standards. Special attention is paid to final assembly and fretwork. At Ted Stevenson Guitars no detail is too small and building a one on one relationship with the player allows us to fine tune the instrument to perfection.
Our guitars are built one at a time by Ted Stevenson using only hand selected, aged, dried woods and traditional hot hide glue for all joints. A high degree of care and craftsmanship goes into every aspect of the construction process and glue joints are no exception.
